Think about what it feels like to just be yourself. How do you act when you are alone? How much do you need to change when you are with your boyfriend?
True love and healthy relationships enable you to be who you are. Someone who loves you, or even likes you, can appreciate your strengths and weaknesses. They will not expect you to change just because they ask you.
True love means respecting each other’s boundaries, and not being forced to do something you aren’t comfortable doing. If your partner is asking you to do things that you don’t feel is right, you can say no, because true love doesn’t force you to be someone you’re not.

Decide for yourself what your limits and boundaries are, and be true to yourself. Make a list of the qualities you expect from a partner, and don’t settle for unhealthy relationships. True love doesn’t hold you back.
